Here is one of my latest hand-made whips. It is beautiful and, after only a couple of test cracks, this one is very, very loud.
Description: 8 ft 12 plait bullwhip with 3 braided bellies
using med. brown high quality cowhide
Detailed Description:
This cowhide bullwhip features: high quality cowhide, 2 braided bellies (also known as a double plaited belly), 2 bolsters, a 12 plait overlay, 21 inch top grain cowhide fall, an 8 in. American handle, and a 6 plait braided wrist strap. This whip’s handle is done in a single-diamond pattern, and has to beautiful turkheads (knots on the handle). This whip was made to be light weight, easy to crack, and durable. Even the crackers (poppers on the end of the whip) were made from high quality waxed nylon (they will last a long time). This whip comes with two extra crackers (poppers).
