This cowhide bullwhip features: high quality cowhide, 3 braided bellies, 1 bolster, a 16 plait overlay, a 2.5 ft. cowhide fall, 6 plait braided wrist loop, and an 8 in. handle (the American length handle). This whip is extremely light weight despite the three braided bellies. The whip is very loud and easy to crack (I cracked it twice to make sure it handled properly). Great for the beginner! Western Stage Props sells a similar whip two tone whip for $189.00, but that whip is 12 plaits (not 16) and only has one braided belly (not 3).
