NEW 6FT 12 PLAIT DARK BROWN KANGAROO BULLWHIP NO RESERVE
This is a 6ft 12 plait (strand) dark brown kangaroo hide bullwhip. The whip is measured from the butt of the handle to the end of the braid.
The whip has a double plaited belly. This whip starts out with a steal handle followed by a thin nylon core. After that comes the first braided kangaroo hide layer which is 4 plait, then the second braided kangaroo hide layer which is 8 plaits. Then comes a cowhide bolster that is tightly wrapped with waxed nylon thread. Finally comes the 12 plait overlay which is braided very tightly ending in an 8 plait fall knot. The kangaroo lace is cut from the best parts of the hide. This makes an excellent bullwhip that will have a very easy crack.
The whip has two knots on the handle with a 6 plait flat braided wrist loop. The whip’s handle is 8in. long (this is the American length handle). This whip's handle is done in a checkerboard (single-diamond) pattern.
The whip has a 21in. oil tanned cowhide fall. The whip has a cracker already attached plus I will include an extra. I have given this whip a coat of leather conditioner that helps to water proof it.
I have test cracked this whip and it is really easy to get a loud crack.
