NEW 8FT 12PLAIT DARK BROWN COWHIDE BULLWHIP NO RESERVE
Description:
This is a brand-new 8ft 12 plait dark brown cowhide bullwhip. The dark brown cowhide leather used in this whip has a beautiful high-sheen look. The whip is measured from the butt of the handle to the end of the braid. The 8ft measurement does not include the fall and cracker which add about another 28in.
The whip has a double plaited belly. This whip starts out with an 8in. steal handle section followed by a thin nylon core. After that comes the first braided cowhide layer which is 4 plaits, and then the second braided cowhide layer which is 6 plaits. Then a precision cut cowhide bolster is added. After this a series of tight artificial sinew bindings are wrapped around the bolster. This gives the whip extra weight and a spring action which are great for target cutting. Finally comes the tightly braided 12 plait cowhide overlay tapering down smoothly to 6 plait fall knot. The cowhide lace and the cowhide bolster are hand-cut from the best parts of the hides allowing maximum thickness for durability. The same quality leather is used on the inside of the whip, making this an excellent bullwhip with a loud easy crack. This bullwhip is perfect for the beginner and professional alike!
The whip is finished off with a flat braided wrist loop, a 24in. oil tanned cowhide fall with a cracker already attached, and two beautiful knots on the handle complimenting the single-diamond (checkerboard style) plaiting on the handle.
I have given this whip a coat of special leather conditioner that helps to waterproof it.
